For over 13 years, I've had the privilege of working with a variety of clients, creating a wide variety of branding material, which increased exposure and leads in their perspective markets.
Outside of my professional life, I am a certified nerd and an active member of my local goth scene and LGBTQ+ community. I love anime, horror and science fiction movies, playing in RPGs, writing fiction, studying metaphysics and spirituality, hanging out with friends and family, and DJing at local goth events.
In 2011, I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Ditigal Media Arts College (Now Lynn University) in Boca Raton, FL. I returned to DMAC later in 2011 to apply my passion for graphic design and transfer it to the digital, ever-changing world of the web. In December 2013, I received my Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Web Design.
In 2011, I started my career working as a freelance graphic designer, grabbing a number of small projects for the Boca Raton Children's Museum and Blackstone Marketing Group. My first temporary contract position was with Dyno Merchandise, which is the head merchandiser for Singer Sewing Machines as well as holiday decoration products distributed to Walmart and Walgreens. I worked as their temporary product designer for the 2011 - 2012 holiday season.
After my contract with Dyno Merchandise ended in February 2012, I picked up another freelance position with Integrity Marketing and Consulting, which was an SEO marketing firm located in Hollywood, FL, where I worked as their lead graphic and web designer, temporarily, from April to November of that year.
After my contract at IMC ended, I landed a full-time position at a growing graphic design firm in Delray Beach called DSquared Media, which was started by a friend of mine who graduated from the same college. For 2 years, I worked as their leading UX/UI designer, where I fulfilled our clients' marketing and design needs.
In the summer of 2014, I decided to move on from DSquared Media and returned temporarily to freelancing, where I landed a temporary position with Allin Interactive, a multimedia company that specializes in user-interface applications for the hospitality industry. During my time there, I had the great opportunity to design for Royal Caribbean and the Hard Rock.
Soon after my time with Allin had ended, I was asked to return to DSquared Media for a short time to assist with a project for one of their clients until the end of the year.
At the start of 2015, I was hired as a full-time web designer for White Sands Treatment Center, which is a luxury drug and rehab facility located in Fort Myers, FL. However, the position I was hired for was located at their corporate headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During my time with White Sands, I was in charge of the design department, where I designed all of their digital and print marketing collateral, logos, ads, photography, and even managing the redesign of their current website at the time. Shortly after my employment and promotion, we hired a junior graphic designer to work under me to meet our tight project deadlines.
At the end of 2016, due to poor executive management, White Sands went out of business and our department was the first to get cut. Soon after, White Sands was purchased by KP Network, who kept the Fort Myers facility open and even decided to open a sister location outside of Tampa, FL. In the beginning of 2017, along with the praise and recommendation of my old Marketing Manager from White Sands, I was brought back to work alongside KP Network's current Art Director to manage the design collateral for White Sands Treatment Centers and KP Network's other products and services.
However, due to changes to Florida State laws governing rehab facilities, KP Network had to cut many of it's marketing practices related to White Sands Treatment Centers, so I was let go in the fall of 2018.
In the Spring of 2019, I was hired by LiFT Digital Media, a small, but growing digital ad agency on Fort Lauderdale, FL as their new graphic designer. I soon climbed the corporate ladder as the company grew and I began to manage more projects on my own. In 2020, I was promoted to Senior Graphic Designer. Then, in 2021, I was promoted to Creative Director.
Today, I am one of LiFT Digital Media's top brass. As the Senior Creative Director, not only am I in charge of creating and delivering design collateral to our clients, but I also meet with them and brainstorm unique design ideas that cater to their needs. My position also comes with responsibility - I have junior staff I supervise and delegate work to based on project needs. I am also in-charge of managing third-party team members like graphic designers, developers, photographers, printers, and videographers we work with for other design-related field work.
